Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work on concrete surfaces, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, creating durable and aesthetically pleasing concrete structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from commercial buildings to renovation projects, contributing your technical skills and attention to detail every step of the way. Responsibilities

• Finish concrete surfaces by smoothing, leveling, and shaping freshly poured concrete using hand tools, power tools, and trowels.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution of finishing tasks.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently during pouring and finishing processes.
• Install rebar and formwork according to construction plans to support proper concrete placement.
• Perform concrete cutting, sealing (caulking), and trimming to achieve precise edges and surface finishes.
• Maintain safety protocols by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations and using appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
• Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other trades to coordinate tasks such as framing, stucco application, tile laying, or masonry work as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction projects with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as masonry or plastering.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, power equipment, hand tools, and heavy machinery used in concrete work.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
• Knowledge of construction estimating principles for material quantities and project timelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for heavy lifting, scaffolding, and site safety.
• Skills in rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring techniques, and surface finishing are essential.
• Experience with renovation projects or restoration work involving concrete or masonry is advantageous.
• Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transportation needs.
